Eight Rice varieties, from 1121 Basmati to 100% broken. Every one leaves our mills graded, laboratory tested and packed to the same rules. Choose the grain and the standard comes with it.
Our Rice varieties fall into two groups. Basmati covers the aromatic long grains: 1121, Super Kernel and D-98. Non-Basmati covers the everyday long grains that move in volume: PK-386, Supri Sella, C-9, IRRI-6 and 100% broken. Two more pages gather one form across varieties: Sella and Golden Sella, and brown Rice.
Grouping is a convenience for buyers, not a quality ladder. A container of IRRI-6 passes the same eight gates as a container of 1121, is tested in the same laboratory and is graded on the same equipment. What changes between the groups is grain length, aroma and price, not the standard behind them.
Each variety page below carries an indicative specification, the forms it is milled in, the markets that buy it and the questions buyers ask us about it most often. Where you need a figure confirmed for a contract, ask and we will send the laboratory report for the current lot.
Every form we mill, from 1121 white to 100% broken. Choose a bowl for that form: the grains close up, what it is used for, pack sizes and its quality standard.

Grain pictures are of our own Rice. Figures for each form come from our specification sheets and are confirmed per lot on the laboratory report.
BasmatiThe grain nearly doubles in length in the pot and still comes out separate. This is the Basmati behind biryani, kabsa and mandi across the Middle East.
BasmatiGrowers call it the king of Rice. Extra long kernels, the strongest traditional fragrance in our range, and a cooked grain that stays fluffy and separate.
BasmatiAn early maturing Basmati from Sindh with long pearl white grain and a quieter, more delicate aroma than Punjab Basmati.
Non-BasmatiBuyers call it the Basmati look alike. A long grain of 6.8 mm or more with a soft natural flavour, grown only in the traditional Rice districts of Pakistani Punjab.
Non-BasmatiA parboiled long grain that looks close to Basmati at a lower cost, firm and separate when cooked.
Non-BasmatiC-9 Rice, sold in some markets as IRRI-9. Long, narrow, opaque grains from Sindh and southern Punjab that stay whole in the pot and cook fluffy and separate.
Non-BasmatiGrown mainly in Sindh, IRRI-6 is the variety that fills containers. Long, soft grains, dependable supply and a price that works at volume.
Non-BasmatiFragments under 4.5 mm separated during the length grading of IRRI-6. Same grain, same nutrition, sold as a product in its own right.
SpecialtyParboiled paddy is soaked, steamed and dried before milling. The starch sets inside the grain, the colour turns pale gold, and the cooked Rice stays firm and separate.
SpecialtyOnly the husk comes off. The bran layer stays, and with it the fibre, the iron, the B vitamins and the nutty flavour that white milling takes away.
Most varieties are milled in more than one form. Each step adds treatment, and each form suits a different kitchen and market.
Only the husk comes off. The bran stays on the grain, with its fibre and nutty taste.
The grain is milled and polished to a clean white. Also sold as raw Rice.
The paddy is steamed before milling, for a firmer grain that cooks evenly.
Parboiled in the husk: soaked, steamed and dried. Creamy colour, separate grains.
Parboiled for longer, for a golden colour and the hardest grain of the five.
Average grain length before cooking, from our specification sheets. Contract figures are confirmed per lot on the laboratory report.
