The procedure

The Rice import procedure, in order.

Every order follows the same import procedure, whether it is a first trial container or a repeat contract. The eight steps below run from your first message to the release order at your destination port, with the documents you receive at each stage.

01

Send your requirement

Submit through the quotation form, email info@greenriceexports.com or WhatsApp +92 314 2222040. Variety, form, quantity, pack size, destination and any private label needs.

02

Discussion

A call, meeting or chat to confirm specification, market requirements and timing.

03

Quotation and order confirmation

We quote with Incoterms (FOR, FOB, CNF or CIF) for your review. You confirm the order.

04

Proforma invoice

You share company details. We issue the proforma invoice. You return it signed and authorised.

05

Advance and artwork

Advance payment by bank transfer, or a letter of credit as agreed. For private label, brand artwork is supplied for printing.

06

Processing and dispatch

On confirmed payment or LC and final artwork, bags are printed and Rice is packed. Goods move from our facilities in Punjab or Karachi to Karachi Port, clear customs and load on the vessel.

07

Shipping and final payment

On loading you receive scanned shipping documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, fumigation certificate, phytosanitary certificate, insurance certificate and laboratory test report where the contract calls for residue testing. You complete payment; originals are couriered to the consignee or surrendered to the shipping line. Additional certifications or legalisations are charged extra.

08

Delivery at destination

You take possession of the cargo against the original or scanned documents and the release order.
